The concept of cleaning grills as a business is intriguing because it’s a new industry working its way onto the small business landscape. It’s a unique service that in most areas nobody else is offering while in other areas one might have minor competition. I have customers tell me all the time “I didn’t know this service existed!” and “I’m so glad I found you because I hate cleaning my grill!”
With the advancement in manufacturing, gas grills are not like the old Weber kettles of the past. Today’s gas grill and their accessories make the grill experience just as convenient as cooking indoors. But with this convenience comes another added chore of upkeep and maintenance. Most consumers do not know how to maintain their grill nor do they know how to clean it. Sure, there are all types of cleaners on the market that tout they make it easy to clean the grill but for the most part they are caustic chemicals that can damage the grill or will not work as advertised causing frustration to the consumer. No matter how well a consumer tries to keep up on his or her grill it will get to a point where it will be too tough for them to maintain and keep clean.

Like any other home service company, you are taking a much needed chore off their plate so they can spend their time doing the things they enjoy doing. You are saving them their time and if you can save them their free time, they are willing to pay for that freedom.
Most homeowners will say something like “My husband tries to keep up on it” or “We’ve tried to clean it ourselves but not to the level you would do it.” The fact is, they simply do not clean it to the level we do nor do they know how to. You are transforming their grill. When they open the lid and see all the grease, carbon and who knows what else stuck to the grates, they look at it in disgust.
